Tomas Chacon’s extensive telecommunications career began shortly after high school in San Fernando, California, where he pursued vocational training as an MATV/CATV Technician. This early technical training established the foundation for a career that would expand across telecommunications, communications systems, navigation, radar operations, fiber optics, and large-scale infrastructure construction.
Tomas continued his professional development through service in the United States Navy, attending Operations Specialist (OS) School in Virginia. During his naval career, he received training and experience supporting shipboard operations, including navigation and radar operations. His experience with operational systems, communications concepts, radar technology, and spectrum awareness contributed to the technical foundation he later applied throughout his telecommunications career.
Following his military service, Tomas continued developing his experience while working across the United States on telecommunications infrastructure projects. His career has included supporting the construction and development of:
- MATV and CATV systems
- Broadband communications infrastructure
- Fiber optic networks
- GPON networks
- FTTH and telecommunications infrastructure
- Underground utility and fiber construction
- Aerial telecommunications construction

With more than three decades of experience across telecommunications and infrastructure development, Tomas brings practical field knowledge, management experience, technical understanding, and nationwide project exposure to the organizations and projects he supports.
Today, Tomas continues his work in telecommunications infrastructure, construction management, consulting, and resource coordination while supporting the development of a Native American business-owned and operated organization focused on building long-term relationships and providing professional services to the communications infrastructure industry.
